What is your role at Avison Young?
Managing Director and Principal in Denver.
How did you get into commercial real estate?
By mistake - would love to say I chose CRE but it chose me! I was working for a GC and we were doing all of Hines' tenant improvement projects. Six months later, I was working for Hines!
Share an example of a time you delivered economic, social and environmental value to your clients, colleagues or community?
A national client's laser focus on their portfolio's goals and objectives revolved around their GRESB score. By measuring our successes at a market-by-market level, we were able to not only impact their ESG performance but we were also able to communicate clearly to their stakeholders and their peers.

How has Avison Young supported you in bringing Brand Purpose to life in your work?
We are in the early stages of bringing Brand Purpose to my daily work life. Knowing that it is a focus and mission for the firm gives me confidence and a level of trust that it will indeed improve how I can serve my internal and external clients.
