Our people, our purpose.

When multiple service lines gets behind a project pursuit. It is exciting to collaborate rather then being told someone's comments.
What is your role at Avison Young?
Principal and Practice Leader for Project Management.
How did you get into commercial real estate?
I decided I wanted to sit on the other side of the "table" when I was a Landscape Architect.
Share an example of a time you delivered economic, social and environmental value to your clients, colleagues or community?
My most recent example was yesterday (10/14), when I learned the Dallas office was designated to be a WELL Office by the WELL Building Institute. Then for my work example is the most recent project completed is for LSG which involved the planning and buildout for their North American HQ. The new design is a radical departure from the existing space in many aspects by maximizing the building features to for an abundance of natural light, flexible spaces, and more opportunities for collaboration that more closely aligns LSG business objectives. This was no more evident than upon completion of the space when LSG asked Avison Young to help plan the migration into the new space as Shelter In Place mandates complicated their return-to-work process. As employees began to return, LSG Executives communicated that the space was receiving positive comments even among company wide reductions as the space was able to respond to their “new normal”.
How do you see our Purpose reflected in your day-to-day work?

“All of the brand purpose elements resonate with me."
