What is your role at Avison Young?

Executive Assistant, Finance and Human Resources.

How did you get into commercial real estate?

I did an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in a construction company and then started working as an assistant for an estate agent. I liked that, so later I did further training to become a real estate specialist (IHK) and stayed in the industry. Overall, however, it was a coincidence and had more to do with the companies than with the industry itself.

How do you see our Purpose reflected in your day-to-day work?

In teamwork, in laughing together despite hard work!

How has Avison Young supported you in bringing Brand Purpose to life in your work?

I came as a merger from Völckers & Cie, where I was already used to this support. AY also lives this and does not let anyone down, as long as you make it clear at the appropriate points that something has to happen or change.
