Avison Young names Managing Director for Toronto West, Southwestern Ontario, and Occupier Services

Sanjiv Chadha will lead with a focus on advisory-led solutions, expanding occupier services, business development, and increasing market share
Toronto, ON – Global commercial real estate advisor, Avison Young, today announces Sanjiv Chadha as the new Managing Director, Toronto West and Southwestern Ontario / Occupier Services, effective February 10. Chadha will focus on executing on the firm’s core strategic business plan, with emphasis on advisory-led solutions, the occupier services platform, business development, and market share.
Chadha first joined Avison Young in 2022 as Principal, Occupier Services, responsible for providing industrial and office clients integrated, customized solutions – an area in which he excels, having advised large corporations on their global real estate strategies in more than 20 countries worldwide over his career spanning more than 20 years.

Selected after an extensive search among internal and external candidates, Chadha will focus on the team’s strategic, advisory-led delivery of real estate solutions, while creating an environment where professionals can thrive. In addition to leading the offices in Toronto West and Southwestern Ontario, he will also be responsible for expanding Avison Young’s occupier services platform, creating new business opportunities, and strengthening the firm’s position in the market. Chadha will also champion Avison Young’s integrated, holistic approach, encouraging partnerships between service lines and experts across the country and around the world.
