Stefan Tetzlaff joined Avison Young as a Real Estate Analyst to support the Consulting and Real Estate & Infrastructure service lines. Stefan will focus on client engagement through real estate strategy and development initiatives. Stefan augments Consulting’s research, financial analysis and value investing expertise, along with knowledge associated with the various financial instruments that are available to our owner and occupier clients.

Stefan recently completed his Honours Business Administration degree with distinction from the Ivey Business School. During his time there, Stefan was a member of both the Ivey Real Estate and Ivey Finance Clubs as well as the HBAA student council. He furthered his real estate knowledge by enrolling in the Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate course at the school and received the Fairfax award in value investing. Prior to beginning at Ivey, Stefan pursued an Honours Specialization undergraduate degree in Finance at Western University and received the Gillespie Chapman Scholarship.  

Before joining Avison Young, Stefan worked as an investment advisor at Foster & Associates. In this role he worked directly with clients to help them achieve their long-term financial goals through various investment vehicles. Additionally, Stefan has experience conducting research within the not-for-profit sector in an effort to present Canadians with the necessary information that allowed them to make informed decisions regarding their charitable giving. 

Stefan strives to combine both his academic and professional experience with his interest in real estate to create unique solutions to complex problems.
