Marty Mikaitis, a Principal and member of the Chicago industrial brokerage team, works with clients in the suburban industrial market surrounding Chicago and across the country. He advises clients through a full range of brokerage services, including tenant/buyer/ownership representation, build-to-suit projects, and land development. He is also well versed in investment analysis, acquisition, and disposition services. His primary area of concentration is the I-55 and I-80 Corridor markets within Chicagoland as well as the burgeoning industrial market in Northwest Indiana. Since joining Avison Young in 2019, Marty has been involved in transactions totaling 12.2 million square feet, 932 acres and $527 million in total consideration. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, Marty was an associate at Darwin Realty where he gained experience in providing a full range of industrial brokerage services. Mr. Mikaitis began his career in the financial markets as a sales trader, brokering and analyzing index options and futures.

Marty is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he majored in finance and accounting. Additionally, he was a four-year letterman on the varsity football team and was a member of the department of athletics leadership council. Marty was also actively involved in the local chapters of the Financial Management Association and the Institute of Management Accountants.
