During his 30-year career, he received numerous awards such as the "Efficiency and Integrity Award" as well as the "Innovation Award" at Caisse de Depots et Placements. Laurent is the only professional within the Avison Young organization (5,000+ professionals) to have been honoured twice during his career with the Ted Avison Award which honours an outstanding and innovative transaction demonstrating complete alignment with client objectives. He is also recognized as a subject matter expert by media as well as a sought-after speaker. 

Credentials

Laurent holds a B.A.A. as well as a Certificate in Finance with a specialty in Real Estate from École des Hautes Études Commerciales. He acts as chair of the Professional Inspection Committee of the OACIQ. Laurent is a past chairman of the Board of Hema-Quebec Foundation and he also sat on the Board of Montreal Airports Authority, Urban Development Institute and the Montréal Harbourfront Corporation Board and was actively involved with Matthieu Ricard for the construction of a school for 1,500 underprivileged children in Nepal.
