Kevin Swartz brings more than 25 years of senior real estate finance executive experience to the Tri-State Debt & Equity Finance team. Kevin focuses on the origination and execution of debt and equity finance assignments in the New York City area and across the United States. Kevin also focuses on loan workout and restructuring assignments.

Over his career, Kevin has held senior positions at several institutional lenders, including Morgan Stanley, BrightSpire Capital, UBS and Wells Fargo where he originated over $10 billion of loans nationwide on various asset classes including multifamily, hotels, offices, retail, cold storage and others. Kevin’s experience spans fixed and floating rate debt, including CMBS and bridge loans. Kevin also served as a consultant for various institutional clients during the GFC where he helped restructure more than $6 billion of debt via modifications, extensions and discounted payoffs, including both securitized and portfolio loans in the US and Europe.

Kevin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley and obtained a J.D. and M.A in International Relations at the University of Southern California as well as an LLM degree in taxation law at New York University.
