Joseph graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Masters of Civic Design (MCD) in December 2017. Having previously worked for Watkin Jones Group as a planning consultant, Joseph joined Avison Young’s Manchester Planning team in May 2018. Joseph obtained MRTPI membership in November 2019.

Joseph has experience of leading and providing support on a wide range of projects, primarily in residential and regeneration schemes. He assists senior colleagues in providing strategic planning advice to clients and is competent in undertaking a range of tasks including; preparation of planning appraisals and planning statements; coordinating planning applications on behalf of clients; and liaising with Local Planning Authority Officers during the determination period to ensure planning permission is achieved at the earliest opportunity. Joseph also has experience in preparing Local Plan representations and speaking at Planning Committees.
