Derek Opert is a Financial Analyst with the Capital Markets Group of Avison Young where he specializes in asset valuation, financial analyses, market research, creation of offering packages and due diligence.

Mr. Opert joined Avison Young’s Boston office in 2012. Prior to joining the Capital Markets Group, he filled the asset management role for properties under management where he was responsible for optimizing property operations, overseeing property accounting, supporting leasing teams in the marketing and leasing of spaces, and devising both short- and long-term strategic plans for assets under management.
