Avison Young was contracted by EMM Group to provide project management services for three venues situated on the Bowery in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, totaling 20,000 sf. The General, a bustling restaurant serving modern Asian cuisine, the Jazz Room, the lower-level extension of The General, where guests can savor full dinner and specialty cocktail menus while enjoying an authentic, live jazz experience and Finale, a night club built like a padded vault, hidden deep within the multi-concept property at 199 Bowery in NYC.
In addition to project management services, Avison Young managed the procurement of EMM’s FF&E package. This included ordering of all the finishes, fabrics, and coordinating the purchase equipment, furniture and decorative lighting package. Avison Young also provided complete construction management services including coordination, scheduling and day to day supervision of all trades.
