Tampa, Orlando and Miami, FL – Avison Young, a global real estate advisory firm, has hired three new brokers to expand the firm’s platform in Florida. Luis Elorza joins as Principal, Capital Markets with a focus on multifamily; Sean DuPree joins as Senior Vice President with a focus on office, flex and industrial; and Trevor Roberts joins as Vice President, Capital Markets with a focus on land.

“We are thrilled to welcome Luis, Sean and Trevor to our growing Florida team,” said Lisa Jesmer, Principal and Florida Market Leader for Avison Young. “As Florida continues to attract national attention from large institutional investors and developers, this strategic expansion positions Avison Young to meet that growing demand.”

Elorza’s 25 years of real estate, investment banking and corporate finance experience will be instrumental to Avison Young’s expansion efforts of its Capital Markets and multifamily platform throughout Florida. Prior to joining Avison Young, Elorza was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Northmarq’s Investment Sales Group and Executive Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group, where he facilitated approximately $5 billion in multifamily transactions.

“I’m excited to bring my capital markets experience to Avison Young’s team of talented real estate professionals,” said Elorza. “Avison Young’s reputation for collaborating across product types on a global, national and local level offers an excellent opportunity for me to continue providing multifamily owners and developers investment sales and equity placement services across the state of Florida.”

DuPree joins Avison Young from Lincoln Property Company where he was the Director of Sales and Leasing for the firm’s Central Florida market. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, DuPree’s expertise lies in seller representation and landlord agency work, particularly in the office, flex and industrial park sectors. His portfolio included notable Class A properties such as Westwood Corporate Center, One Eleven and SunTech Commerce Park, as well as multiple business parks in the area.

Roberts brings deep knowledge of the Central and South Florida land markets following decades of experience working with major entities such as Florida Power and Light to secure key properties, including a 3,000-acre site for a Panther CU credit bank. Roberts began his career in the cattle and citrus industries and grew his real estate portfolio under the mentorship of Brett DuBois at Tarpon Blue Real Estate Services.
