Avison Young brings 123,896-square foot office park in Atlanta submarket to full occupancy

Atlanta, GA – Avison Young, a global real estate advisory firm, has brought the Johnson Square Office Park in Atlanta’s East Cobb submarket to full capacity on behalf of the landlord, Greenleaf Management. The 12-building office park is now one of the few office properties in the Atlanta market that is fully leased.
Located at 1501 Johnson Ferry Road, Johnson Square features a diverse mix of tenants occupying the 3,000–4,000 square-foot (sf) office spaces including educational, medical, legal and professional services. The 123,896-sf park is walking distance from numerous shops, banks and restaurants and boasts extensive accessible parking and a shared conference room and fitness center. In recent years, Greenleaf Management has made significant improvements to the property such as new landscaping and exterior paint to attract tenants.
Avison Young’s Atlanta office leasing team, Chris Godfrey, Kirk Rich and Monica Speak, successfully increased the occupancy rate at Johnson Square from 40% to 100% over the past six years as more businesses look to open offices in suburban markets.
“We’re seeing a growing number of businesses relocating to the suburbs to cut down on commuting time for employees as they look to bring workers back into the office,” said Speak. “According to Avison Young’s second quarter 2024 office market report, Atlanta’s suburbs have significant less total availability than the urban core.”
