Brennan Yadlowski will lead the Calgary office starting in January 2024

Calgary, AB – Avison Young is pleased to announce the strategic promotion and appointment of Brennan Yadlowski as Managing Director (“MD”) of the firm’s Calgary office.

“Brennan was quickly identified as a leader with incredible potential. He’s a dynamic team player, a champion of the use of technology in real estate, and a strategic, long-term thinker,” said Mark Fieder, Principal and President of Avison Young in Canada.  “He is someone who will galvanize the entire team in Calgary – new professionals, seasoned Principals, brokerage teams and non-brokerage service lines – to deliver results together.”

Yadlowski first joined Avison Young in 2018 in the firm’s Edmonton office, working with the firm’s Capital Markets and Mortgage practices. From there he moved to Calgary to lead the Mortgage team, taking it from a nascent player to a leading practice.

As MD, Yadlowski will focus on business development and prioritizing initiatives that expand the firm’s market share in Calgary. With an emphasis on collaborative success, technology adoption and professional development, he aims to quickly build the brand and drive revenue.

After the first of the year, Yadlowski will succeed Todd Throndson as MD, who after 26 years as Principal and MD in our two Alberta offices, will be moving to a different role within the office. “While I could not be happier to hand the reigns over to Brennan and am fully confident in his future success, I am looking forward to offering something different to AY and our Calgary office. I expect to focus more on mentoring and coaching our up-and-coming talent and helping where I can to add value,” added Throndson.
