SC Biz News names Avison Young's Ashley Jackrel to the 2022 Class of Forty under 40 honorees

Charleston, SC - Chris Fraser, CCIM, Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s South Carolina offices today announced has selected Ashley Jackrel, CCIM, Vice President, Office & Investments Services for the 2022 Class of Forty Under 40. Honorees will be featured in the Charleston Regional Business Journal in September
Jackrel was among the 40 elite individuals who demonstrated professional excellence, led community efforts for positive change, and made an impact that reaches far beyond the Forty Under 40 honor. Jackrel joined Avison Young in early 2020, focusing on office and investments. She continually achieves her clients’ goals and serves in leadership and volunteer roles. Other past awardees from Avison Young’s Charleston office include Chris Fraser, CCIM, Principal and Managing Director, Todd Garrett, CCIM, SIOR, Senior Vice President, and Gerry Schauer, CCIM, Senior Vice President.
Jackrel is heavily involved in the Charleston community and serves on several real estate committees. She serves at the local, state, and national levels for REALTORS® also chairs a workgroup for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and serves on the Commercial Committee. At the state level, Jackrel is the Commercial Representative on the Executive Committee for South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) and the board at large. Locally, she is the Chairperson for the 2022 CTAR Commercial Market Forecast and has previously served on the Board of Directors. She is active in their Legislative Committee and has previously chaired their Candidate Screening Committee.
Jackrel is also an active volunteer in the community. She is an Honorary Commander (HC) with Joint Base Charleston, and currently serves on the City of Charleston’s Design Review Board (DRB). Previously, she served on the West Ashley Revitalization Commission (WARC). Jackrel works closely with Reading Partners to tutor students in low-income schools to help kids master basic reading.
