Ilya Tihanenoks joins as Principal, adding to deep bench strength in industrial group

Vancouver, BC – In Vancouver’s active industrial real estate landscape, Avison Young is adding to its deep bench strength on its industrial team by welcoming the arrival of Ilya Tihanenoks as Principal.

In his role, Tihanenoks will steer industrial owners and occupiers through complex market fundamentals in Vancouver’s core industrial areas. With nearly a decade of experience, Tihanenoks is known for his local market expertise and his “think like a client” approach, always putting his clients’ interests at the heart of all his interactions. Having started his career at CBRE, he has been involved in some of Vancouver’s largest industrial leasing and investment deals, completing over $1B of transactions across 5.7 million square feet of space. Tihanenoks is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Business and Economics program. His career recognitions include Western Canada’s Rookie of the Year and Vancouver’s Broker Choice Award, both from CBRE.
