Avison Young expands property management team in Charleston, SC
March 8, 2022LaChrisha LaSane joins veteran team of real estate managers
Charleston, SC – Chris Fraser, CCIM, Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s South Carolina and Savanah, GA, offices today announced the promotion of LaChrisha LaSane to Assistant Property Manager in Charleston, SC.
LaSane will support the Senior Property Manager with the operations, financial responsibilities, site visits and relationship building with all tenants in the assigned portfolios. She will quickly solve tenant problems that may arise and manage tenant satisfaction in efforts to ensure a high level of tenant retention.
“We are delighted to have LaChrisha move into a leadership role with our firm,” said Fraser. “She has demonstrated her leadership capabilities in service to our country and will be a welcome addition to the property management team.”
A Charleston native, LaChrisha joined the Avison Young team in 2017 as a Marketing Coordinator in the industrial, retail, multifamily and office sectors in addition to assisting with operations. Shortly after joining the firm, LaChrisha was sworn in to serve in the Air Force Reserves as an Air Evacuation Aerospace Medical Technician. Upon her return from military training, LaChrisha took on a hybrid role assisting the South Carolina and Savannah, GA brokerage, property management, accounting, and operations departments. A versatile individual and an enthusiastic team player, LaChrisha’s diverse experience with Avison Young allows her to aide her team in a myriad of ways, transcending roles and responsibilities. Due to LaChrisha’s vast knowledge of the brokerage and property management markets, in December of 2020, LaChrisha was promoted into the role of South Carolina and Savannah Georgia offices’ Research Analyst. March 1, 2022, LaChrisha returned from a military deployment to take on a new role as Assistant Property Manager.
As an Air Force Air Evacuation Medical Technician, LaChrisha is trained to maintain patients’ health and stabilize illnesses/injuries during transport as well as to address issues caused by the stressors of flight or aircraft emergencies. She recently returned from being deployed for five months as a part of a Covid-19 Air Evacuation task force. As a part of this team, it was her duty to care for and transport patients using the Negative Pressure Connex (NPC) which is a large infectious patient containment system that is loaded inside of military aircraft. Before deploying, LaChrisha completed Airmen Leadership School (ALS) where she was the only person of 33 students to receive the Commandant Award. As a result of her performance over four years, her performance in ALS, and her performance during her interview with her squadrons promotion board, LaChrisha was promoted to Staff Sergeant on November 1, 2022, while still deployed.
