PRESS RELEASE: Avison Young in New Jersey promotes Ed English to Principal

New Jersey  Jeff Heller, Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young in New Jersey, today announced that Edward M. English Jr.has been named to Principal. English, who has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience in tenant representation and occupier solutions and has been with the firm since 2017.  He was with the former Cresa NJ office before it was acquired byAvison Young.  

The promotion marks an important milestone for English as Avison Young is a Principal-owned and-led global commercial real estate firm. In his new role as Principal, English will continue to lead a team advising occupiers of space on all aspects of single and multi-location transaction management, including lease renewals, new leases, subleases, purchases, and sales, as well as lease administration, lease audits, tax incentives, project/construction management, and sale-leasebacks.   

Since 2012, English’s team has overseen the completion of more than 250 real estate transactions in more than 60 markets throughout New Jersey, the U.S., and Canada. These transactions have included leases, purchases, sales, and build-to-suit projectsand have comprised of more than 5.4 million square feet of space and more than $560 million in transactional value.
