Tom Martino serves as Director, Project Management to compliment Avison Young’s growing portfolio of professional services. Tom has over 20 years of experience in Project Management working with multi-national clients specializing in large capital projects in the commercial office and health care services environment. He will actively lead, build and manage cross functional team strategies and will be a  driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values.

Tom’s passion for building construction and technologies was primed by academics in civil engineering, which offered him numerous opportunities over the course of his career. He worked directly for companies such as UHN, Bridgepoint Health and CPA Ontario, and will leverage lessons learned and his unique knowledge to accomplish client goals while guiding and leading a team of project management professionals.

Tom has successfully planned, executed, and delivered within the classic "triple constraint" of scope, on-time and within budget . Acquiring the right resources and coordinating efforts of team members in order to convey projects according to a plan is the essence of delivering successful outcomes. Tom advocates and firmly believes that “People make projects happen” and has delivered projects for large corporations such as Zebra Technology, Microsoft and The Cooperators.
