Rick Jenkins joined Avison Young as the Global Controller in 2016. Rick collaborates with finance team colleagues and external advisors to direct internal and external reporting, develop tax strategies, continuously improve day to day finance processes, oversee due diligence and integration of merger and acquisition targets, and to identify and develop talent across the finance team. Effective May, 2019, Rick was elevated to the role of Chief Accounting Officer.

Rick brings more than 20+ years of diverse accounting, finance, and consulting experience. Immediately prior to joining Avison Young, Rick spent 6-years as a leader within the Americas Finance Team at JLL, earning the Americas Finance MVP award for contributions made in 2015. Other prior experience includes 9+ years at Big 4 CPA Firms in various consulting and audit roles, and 5 years as a Controller at IMG, the global sports, modeling, and media conglomerate.
