Rhian is an Associate Director in Avison Young’s Manchester Planning team and has over Nine years’ experience within both local government and private practice. Rhian advises on projects across a range of sectors including residential, mixed-use, and commercial development and is responsible for project managing large scale planning applications and also promoting strategic sites through the Development Plan process. Working for a range of private and public sector clients, Rhian is also experienced in community engagement, devising and implementing consultation strategies to involve local communities and stakeholders. Latterly Rhian has project managed the publication of Area Actions Plans for Trafford Council.

Rhian provides strategic planning advice to a variety of clients, through the preparation of planning appraisals and strategy notes; promotion of sites through the development plan system; and preparation and negotiation of complex planning applications. She has a proven track record of achieving significant uplifts in land values for private and public sector clients, ensuring that her client’s requirements are met in a timely manner.
