CAREER SUMMARY

Reed Simmons has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.  As a Vice President of the office division at Avison Young/WAC, Reed specializes in tenant representation, office leasing and investment properties.  Reed is a seasoned real estate professional who offers his clients a level of expertise in each real estate transaction and assists his client in achieving successful, long-term results.  

Prior to joining Avison Young, Reed was as a partner at Dickson Realty where he led the company to become one of Northern Nevada’s largest and most successful real estate companies. In 2007, he became an Investment Specialist for Grubb & Ellis/NGG and has been a top producing broker ever since.  Earlier in his professional career, Reed received the Hall of Fame Business Laureate Award from Junior Achievement.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Business and community involvement are an important aspect of working in a community. Reed has served on numerous boards and committees. He is a past chairman of the board of Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN). Reed is past board chairman of Bailey Charter School and is currently board president of Nevada Land Trust. He is a graduate of Leadership Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce. 

HOBBIES

Reed enjoys competitive team roping, riding horses and swimming.
