Michael Robinson is a Principal in Avison Young’s New York City office.

A commercial appraisal veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Robinson offers appraisal and valuation consulting services for his clients, advising them on a wide range of property types. He provides valuations for portfolios, joint ventures, acquisition/disposition, development, condemnation, financing, tax certiorari, bankruptcy proceedings and estate liquidation. Widely regarded as an expert in analyzing demographics trends and the viability of a particular property and its market value, Robinson’s skills have proved invaluable time and again.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Robinson worked at KTR Real Estate Advisors Corp. for 20 years, most recently as Vice President, where he was responsible for appraisal and consulting management, marketing and client development and staff supervision. He performed appraisal and consulting assignments on a variety of properties including office, retail, hotel, industrial, healthcare, residential and mixed-use properties.

Robinson is actively pursuing his designation as a member of the Appraisal Institute. Notable appraisal assignments include the valuation of 375 Park Avenue (Seagram Building), the retail component of the Time Warner Center, and 432 Park Avenue.
