Louisa joined Avison Young’s Midlands Planning Team in September 2017 whilst on a part-time basis studying for her Urban and Regional Planning Masters at the University of Birmingham. Louisa began working at Avison Young full-time in September 2018 after the completion of her master’s course. She was elected as a Chartered Member of the RTPI in February 2021.

Louisa works on a range of instructions for both public and private sector clients. Senior colleagues within the Midlands Planning Team are supported by Louisa, providing research, due diligence, site appraisals, mapping, informing reports, development control and responses. Louisa is currently engaged in projects in the housing, commercial, industrial, education and defence sectors. She has acted for a range of clients including house builders, retail, pension trusts and management firms preparing planning applications, managing planning applications and writing informed reports.
