Kenneth (Ken) Kearns is a Principal at Avison Young's Philadelphia office.

Ken specializes in commercial real estate leasing, dispositions, acquisitions, entitlement and asset management. Ken has been representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers for over 20 years in the greater Philadelphia region. He has overseen the leasing efforts of many of the region’s top private landlords and has secured over 1 million square feet of leases through tenant representation. Ken also handles development entitlements, approvals and underwriting for his clients. Recently, Ken has overseen significant transactions covering a range of asset classes and geographies, including Retail, Office, Multifamily Residential, Town-home development and Hospitality.

Previously, Ken served as Vice President in the Transactions Group for Buccini/Pollin Group, one of the largest private commercial developers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Ken was responsible for a 2 million square-foot, multi-state commercial portfolio. Prior to his time at BPG, Ken served as Senior Vice President for O’Neill Property Group, Trinity Capital Advisors, and Preferred Real Estate Investments, where he was responsible for over $200 Million in acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Ken started his career as a project manager for global management consulting firm PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC), where he was instrumental in development of The Zone, PwC’s innovative Global Management Consulting Solution Center and Project Fast-Start Center in Philadelphia and New York.

Ken is an active musician and has released multiple full length original recordings and has played on dozens of records as a studio musician. Ken is extremely active in the local original music scene as a producer, promoter and performer. Ken is the co-founder of The Music is Love Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization that supports children's medical causes through music-related events. Ken is the director of the annual Wayne Music Festival. Ken is a member of the Chairmans Council of the Board of Directors for the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, is an Advisory Board Member for Narberth Ambulance, is on the board of the Wayne Business Association and has served on the Planning Commission and Comprehensive Plan Committee for Radnor Township.

Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Villanova University, majoring in Marketing and lives with his wife and four children in Wayne, PA.
