Katharina Biermann is Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young’s Berlin office. She joined Avison Young in March 2016 to build up the Berlin branch together with Nicolai Baumann. With a dedicated core team they have grown the business sustainably and have made Avison Young a renowned player in the Berlin market.

Katharina specialises in advising national and international clients with their office requirements in Germany’s capital. In 2019, she successfully brokered leases of more than 20,000 square meters and was appointed Principal in 2020. Since June 2021, Katharina is part of Avison Young‘s German management board and Managing Director of the Berlin office.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Katharina worked at Engel & Völkers Commercial in Berlin. She holds a Master in Business Administration with a specialisation in real estate management.
