Hi, I am Josh Brickman, a software developer on the Innovation Team, and I will be working on the Cities feature buildout within the Avant platform.

There is so much potential in commercial real estate for firms to intelligently leverage the huge swaths of data out in the world. I am excited to contribute to Avison Young, in order to effectively harness this information.

Prior to joining Avison Young, I was a practicing structural engineer, designing skyscrapers across Chicagoland. This experience in the building design industry will help provide context as new data sources are incorporated into Cities, Avant, and beyond.

In summer 2020, I collaborated with three engineers to design the Translunar Hypercritical Repository 1 (THRONE).
