Joseph A. Lagano II joined Avison Young in 2016 as a Senior Director in the firm’s   Long Island office. A seasoned real estate professional with more than 18 years of experience, Lagano specializes in Industrial and Commercial brokerage with a focus on air cargo clients surrounding JFK International Airport.

Lagano plays an instrumental part of a successful team representing 2.1 million square feet of industrial properties both on and off-tarmac for four institutional landlords; Prologis Inc., LINK Industrial Properties, Terreno Realty LLC and Wildflower LTD. While Lagano’s primary specialty is landlord representation, he also has extensive transactional experience with every type of tenant in the air cargo, logistics, e-commerce and distribution industries.

Lagano welcomes new challenges and opportunities to assist clients in making strategic real estate decisions that position their business or tenants for success. Throughout his career, he has serviced all property types across Long Island, Queens and in the JFK International Airport market. Having represented numerous top-tier tenants with his team, including Luxottica Group, Elk Investors, Kuehne & Nagel, FedEx and UPS, Lagano is well-versed in helping clients meet their buying, selling and leasing needs. 

Lagano is presently a board member of both the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) and Gateway JFK, also known as The Greater JFK Industrial Business Improvement District (IBID), as well as a member of the JFK Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Avison Young, Lagano worked at both JLL and Cushman & Wakefield.
