John T. Baird is an Executive Vice President with Avison Young, specializing in land acquisition and disposition for development of commercial properties. Since founding the Land, Development and Industrial Advisory team, John and his team have closed over $500M in transaction volume since 2020 with an additional $70M under contract. Recently, the team has expanded to include industrial agency leasing and tenant representation services in the Central Texas area.

John’s impressive record representing both buyers and sellers of single & multi-residential, industrial, and commercial land, spans over 35 years. In addition, he maintains a stellar reputation representing tenants and landlords of office and industrial properties.

Throughout his career, John has executed in excess of 500 transactions, totaling more than $1Billion in volume.

John is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics. He is married to his wife Leslie and has two grown children.
