James is a Raleigh native and graduate of Millbrook High School. He later earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.

Outside of work, James thrives on adventure - whether it’s exploring Raleigh’s scenic trails, catching the latest Formula 1 race, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or tackling home projects.
