Jack joined Avison Young in 2024 as Controller for the newly created retail group and is
responsible for overseeing all accounting efforts and the accounting team to ensure property
accounting is meeting and going beyond client expectations.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Jack held various positions that ranged from Portfolio Accountant
to Asset Manager. He started as a third-party property accountant in 1997. In 1999, Jack
moved to the client side of real estate as an accountant where he worked at AEW Capital
Management for the next 24 years. The first 14 years consisted of rising from a property
accountant to portfolio controller for high-profile separate account clients. In 2014, he changed
roles to become an asset manager focusing on retail properties.
