Gary specializes in providing retail and office transaction and advisory services to tenants and property owners throughout the Triangle region with an emphasis on the Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Durham markets. Gary began his commercial real estate career in Chapel Hill in 2002. Prior to joining Avison Young in 2005, he served as an associate with Morris Commercial, Inc. Gary has completed a diverse mix of general retail (restaurant), national cell phone carrier and office transactions, representing both landlords and tenants statewide.

Gary is actively involved in the community, helping to raise funds for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital, the MDS Foundation, the Chapel Hill High School Men’s Basketball Team, the Charles House Association, and the Morehead Planetarium Student Scholarship Program. He is a former board member of the Occoneechee Boy Scouts of Orange County and a former member of the initial Teacher’s Supply Store Committee, the Rams Club and the Chapel Hill/Durham Cotillion.
