Eric Karmitz began his career with Avison Young in 2013 and is a Director in the Tri-State Investment Sales group of Avison Young’s New York City office.

Over the course of his career, Eric has sold more than $500,000,000 in commercial real estate, including Multifamily, Development Sites, Mixed Use, Office Buildings and Retail properties. Notable property sales negotiated by Eric include 177 Franklin Street for $16,800,000, 14 East 52ndStreet for $19,500,000, 501 Broadway for $27,500,000 and a 12-building Upper East Side portfolio for $61,000,000.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science and certificate in Business from Indiana University. He is an active member of the Pat Covelli Foundation and has received the New York University Gold Standard for Real Estate Acquisition and Ownership and Real Estate Financial Analysis.
