Current Responsibilities

Dave Dworkin joined Avison Young in March 2012 as Operations Manager where he oversees and is responsible for managing office operations including accounting, revenue, information technology, administration, brokerage services, research and human resources.

Career Summary

Dave Dworkin has worked in the commercial real estate industry for 25 years. Prior to joining Avison Young, Dave spent over seven years with Grubb & Ellis, five of which as Research Analyst, and subsequently promoted to the position as Research Manager in February 2010.

In that role, Dave was responsible for directing all market research initiatives for the firm, including overseeing all research and mapping projects, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company’s proprietary commercial property database, analyzing market changes and trends, preparing a quarterly trend report for office and industrial specialties, and writing the annual forecast report which covers industrial, office, retail, investment, land, and multifamily.

Prior to Grubb & Ellis, Dave was the Director of Marketing and Information Technology at IPG Commercial Real Estate Services for 11 years. His various duties included creating marketing materials for the firm, designing brochures, drawing floor plans, updating IPG’s industrial database, as well as maintaining a twelve-user network.
