Chris Kinerson helps lead the property management and operations functions for Avison Young’s U.S. retail portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in the commercial and shopping center industry, Chris brings a diverse background developing and leading successful teams and driving value for multiple portfolios.

Before joining Avison Young, Chris served as Vice President of Client Services and Business Development at CenterCal Properties. In this capacity, he played a fundamental role in shaping the company's third-party strategy and overseeing asset management responsibilities for the company’s California portfolio.

Chris previously held the position of Vice President of Property Management – Western Region for Vestar in Long Beach, CA. While there, Chris managed the company’s Western region portfolio while leading the CA, NV and WA operation and management functions for 37 regional shopping center assets. Chris's extensive experience also includes Senior Manager roles at a top global firm and serving as General Manager for prominent shopping centers under the Westfield Corporation.
