Chris is a Planner in our Newcastle office in the Planning, Development and Regeneration team. He is a Chartered Member of the RTPI and has had varied public and private sector experience since graduating from Newcastle University, achieving a distinction in MSc Town Planning in 2017.

In the public sector, Chris has experience working within regeneration projects, development management and planning policy. This has included handling appeals and presenting at planning committee meetings, and experience presenting at Local Plan examinations.

With Avison Young, Chris has experience in all aspects of the planning process including site appraisals, making local plan representations, and the preparation and submission of planning applications. Chris’ work has been particularly focussed on the energy and infrastructure sector.
