Andrew Fredricks joined Avison Young in June 2015 as the Marketing Manager for the Chicago region. Now the Marketing Director for the Central Region, he brings more than 15 years of multi-faceted experience in marketing and journalism. He provides branding, B2B marketing and overall project support for the region’s service lines including the creative direction of marketing collateral, promotional and sales materials, ground-up brand positioning and repositioning as well as asset launch campaigns. Andrew has overseen agency leasing efforts for more than 15 downtown Chicago assets including Class A, trophy towers such as 181 West Madison, One North Wacker and 71 South Wacker.

His day-to-day responsibilities include creating and writing promotional materials, conducting and compiling market research reports and proposals, and assisting with client outreach. In addition to his duties within the region, Andrew also supports national level corporate marketing and branding endeavors.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Andrew was the Creative Director at MB Real Estate, where he provided direction to the visual communications team regarding media placement, budget, design choice and content use, among other aspects of the company’s brand strategy including the oversight of all agency leasing marketing activity. Previously, he worked as a staff writer at the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, Arizona. He holds his B.A. in journalism and studio art from the University of Arizona.

Andrew is an avid animal lover and works with several canine welfare groups in Illinois and Wisconsin. He lives with his wife and their three dogs in Chicago’s Galewood neighborhood.
