The project included the design of interior and exterior offices, assistant workstations, two “terraces”, terrace pantry areas, pantry/screening area, demo kitchen, conference rooms, jewel box conference rooms, and reception. Off the 18th floor lobby WME|IMG has created a chic multipurpose event space that is functional and purposeful. By day the space is utilized by WME|IMG employees and clients alike as a pantry, kitchen eating area, impromptu meeting location and informal conferencing space. At night, the space doubles as a screening room and demo kitchen where WME|IMG clients can view and present their work while creating a sophisticated event space for internal and external events. The WME|IMG project was designed by a team consisting of a Design Consultant and an Architect of Record. Understanding which areas of the design and construction administration are the responsibility of which entity and ensuring close coordination between both is an important task to ensure a successful project.
