Avison Young represents Virginia Hospital Center in purchase of 145,000-SF office property
3601 Eisenhower Avenue will serve as outpatient surgery center and office space
Tysons, VA - Today Avison Young announced the closing of 3601 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, VA on behalf of the buyer, Virginia Hospital Center (VHC). VHC intends to use the approximately 145,000-square-foot (sf) office property as an outpatient surgery center as well as medical office space.
VHC was represented by Bill Evans of Avison Young. The seller, Cameron Run Property, LLC, an affiliate of Monday Properties and AREG owned the building since 2018. This purchase adds to VHC’s growing list of locations serving Northern Virginia and helps cement them as one of the leading health care providers in the region.
“This property’s location, interior layout and parking accommodations were exactly what VHC was looking for,” said Evans. “We’ve been in the market for some time looking for just the right opportunity and after an exhaustive search we really feel like we struck gold with this one.”
The convenient location right off the Capital Beltway and on Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria was a significant factor in identifying this property as the new home for VHC’s outpatient surgery center. It was originally constructed in 1990 and includes 424 surface parking spaces.
