Avison Young brokers sale of 4.18-acre land parcel for medical office property development in Buckeye, AZ
Phoenix, AZ – Avison Young announced today the $3.975 million sale of a 4.18-acre land parcel for the development of a medical office project located at the northeast corner of Watson Road and Sundance Parkway in Buckeye, AZ.
Avison Young Principal James DeCremer who is based in the Phoenix office represented the seller, a Phoenix-based private investor. The buyer, Milwaukee, WI-based health care real investment and development company, Hammes Partners, was represented by Melynn Wakeman with Wakeman Integrity.
Hammes Partners plans to develop Buckeye Medical Plaza, an approximately 45,000-square-foot, two-story medical office building that is anticipated to be completed in Q3 2023.
“Buckeye is the fastest-growing city in America and is experiencing a demand for medical facilities to serve its expanding population. As Buckeye grows, more of this product category will be delivered, however, this project is one of only a few medical facilities in various stages of development currently in the city,” said DeCremer.
The site is one-half mile from the I-10 freeway and is on a major retail corridor.
