Axiom Engineering selects Michigan for the home of its first U.S. location

Detroit, MI– Avison Young today announced that it has negotiated the lease of an 123,000 square-foot (sf) industrial office building at 14898 Koehn Road in Mussey Township, Michigan on behalf of Axiom Engineered Systems. This will be the home of the company’s first U.S location.

Avison Young’s Matthew Buslepp, Jacob Zammit, and Managing Director Jim Becker, based in the firm’s Detroit office represented the tenant, Axiom Engineered Systems, LLC, on the lease. The landlord, 14898 Koehler Capac, LLC, was represented by Lee and Associates. 

“This location provides Axiom the opportunity to continue their company’s success, and enables them to recruit a best in class advanced manufacturing workforce while also adding more than 200 jobs.” Buslepp said.  “With this being Axiom’s first U.S. location, it shows the Michigan industrial real estate market sector is in strong demand,” added Becker.

Axiom Group has been a fixture in the North American automotive industry for over 30 years. Founded in 1987, Axiom Group started with a single thermoplastic injection molding facility in Aurora, Ontario. Today, Axiom services clients from three international hubs and has grown to offer vertically integrated support with product design, development, testing, tooling/mold-making, production and assembly services to customers worldwide.

The date of expected move in is July 1, 2022.
