Greenville, SC – Avison Young today announced that it has negotiated a lease on behalf of ownership at 1320 Hampton Avenue Ext. in Greenville. Bourbon Street Burgers, a restaurant concept by Dine Development Group, LLC, will occupy 5,090 square feet (sf) of space at Hampton Station.
Oceana Rapid, LLC, the landlord, was represented by Avison Young’s Ned Reynolds and Rhett Craig, who are based in the firm’s Greenville office and are the exclusive listing agents for the mixed-use development.
“We were looking for a strong restaurant concept with a proven track record to round out our community at Hampton Station,” said Reynolds. “Bourbon Street Burgers checks all the boxes.”
Bourbon Street Burgers currently occupies space at the Warehouse at Vaughn’s food hall in Simpsonville. Their menu includes handmade gourmet burgers, craft bourbon cocktails, and the finest bourbon collection in the Upstate. They anticipate opening their expanded location at Hampton Station in mid-2022.
“We’ve had such success with Bourbon Street Burgers in Simpsonville, we wanted to expand to greater Greenville,” said Thomas Wirthlin, CEO of Dine Development Group and Warehouse at Vaughn’s owner. “Hampton Station’s community feel along with its working and relaxing atmosphere made it a natural fit for our new flagship location.”
The new location will accommodate over 150 people and will allow for expansion of their current menu. Twenty-six craft beer taps and a full bar will compliment their impressive bourbon collection. Soft serve ice-cream and classic chicken fingers will keep the youngest patrons happy. Bourbon Street Burgers is a family owned and operated business created by Greenville natives Thomas and Angie Wirthlin.
