Houston, TX – Avison Young today announced that it has negotiated a lease extension and expansion of office space on behalf of LJA Engineering, Inc., to 38,357-square feet (sf) at 1904 W. Grand Parkway North in Katy, TX.
LJA Engineering, the tenant, was represented by Avison Young Principal, Anthony Squillante and Vice President, Dustin Devine, who are based in the company’s Houston office. The landlord, 1904 Grand Parkway North, LP, a joint venture between Insite Realty Partners LP and The Urban Companies, was represented by Parker Burkett, Vice President, and Eric Anderson, Executive Vice President, with Transwestern.
“In 2014, LJA opened its first office in Katy, a growing market in far west Houston, that would allow the firm to continue to attract and retain great talent. Six years later, LJA’s vision has proven to be spot on as this office has grown to be the company’s second largest location,” said Squillante.
“The efficient floor plates and availability of dense parking offered at 1904 West Grand Parkway North has assisted with our client’s ability to grow year after year in this building,” added Devine.
The employee-owned engineering company made the decision to expand its existing 33,464-sf space by adding an additional 4,893 sf to accommodate for the firm’s growing needs.
