THE X FACTOR
New employee archetypes
The three new employee archetypes
and how to support them
New employee groups with unique workplace needs
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, companies’ talent pools were already shifting to a dynamic variety of generational groups and personality types, all with nuanced workplace needs. For the first time in history, five generational groups worked side-by-side, revealing nuanced differences in working styles and workplace preferences. The pandemic turned cracks into craters, amplifying and evolving the specific needs of these employee groups and what they require to be supported through the overall employee experience –- sometimes in unexpected ways. So, who are these office archetypes and what are their needs, particularly in a post-Covid landscape? Through our work at Avison Young –- and ongoing conversations with clients and employees –- we have been able to identify some of the key groups, as well as their unique workplace needs.
